Graeme Otto Hansen

Graeme Otto Hansen was a legendary showjumping rider from New Zealand who represented his country at the 1964 olympic games in Tokyo with his talented jumping horse Saba Sam. Graeme and Saba Sam would continue to win international competitions all over the world before retiring his horse of a lifetime in 1968.

Graeme Otto Hansen would continue to be an important part of the New Zealand showjumping world, riding many other talented horses as well as becoming a well respected trainer helping guide young riders through the levels of the sport. Graeme Otto Hansen passed away in 2007 at the age of 73 after a short illness, Graeme is remember fondly as a true horseman.
